Lethe is a newer goddess to The Feywild, and some feel she has become a plague upon it. She embodies forgetfulness, releasing one's worries and letting them drift away. She is diametrically opposed to Monet, seeing the past only as a burden one should be released of.

Lethe's origins are unclear. Some believe she was born out of one of Dionysus's drunken dreams, or is the child of Dionysus and Grayze. No one remembers exactly when or how she first arrived, but those close to her don't seem to mind, forgetting any concerns or misgivings they might have in her presence.

Appearance

Lethe is often depicted as made of milky white waters in vague humanoid shape, lacking stability or permanence.

Holy Symbol

Followers of Lethe adorn themselves with the symbol of the snaking river. The most devout have it tattooed upon them, so that even should they forget everything, they will not forget Lethe.

Lethe wants everyone to lay down their burdens, forget their worries, let go of the past.

Lethe despises Monet, her opposite, and wishes to see them dead and forgotten.

Most are wary of her, but she has been spending more and more time at Dionysus and Grayze's revels.

Blank Slate. To be free is to forget, to let go of the past and chains of memory.

Typical Followers

Most who follow Lethe seek to forget something. A crime they committed, a tragedy they suffered, a wrongdoing wrought upon them.

Followers of Lethe tend to the more cultish. Some go so far as to fully submit their wills to Lethe, allowing her to strip them of their memories to become blank slates in service to her.
