Krastosh was one of the krakens created by Krakinos and sent to The Material Plane in its infancy. However, every time Krastosh attempted to conquer something, their plots were foiled, driven nearly to defeat by powerful heroes or creatures sent by Ursula and her demigods. Feeling betrayed by Krakinos, who they felt had set them up for failure, Krastosh attempted to defeat their maker and steal their power. However, the attack failed as Krakinos quickly defeated the rebel kraken. For their brazenness, Krastosh became an outsider, reviled by their deity and the other krakens.
