The derelict tower of stands as a haunting silhouette amidst the dense, gloomy landscape of Scalemire Fen. Once hidden by powerful illusions, its crumbling stone walls and broken windows now lay bare to the elements. Vines and moss creep up the sides, entwining with the ancient, weathered masonry.
Along the east side of the tower is a cellar that was once hidden by illusion magic, it has since been revealed.
The basement of the tower is a storage room of sorts revealing the entire building was built on top of an old tree stump as a foundation.
Since its inhabitation from the Kobolds they have built on top of the insecure structure a hobbled together base of wood iron and rock
The air around the derelict tower is heavy with the scent of damp stone and decaying vegetation. A lingering, acrid smell of old potions and chemicals permeates the air, mixing with the musty odor of mold and mildew.

The tower is eerily quiet, the silence broken only by the occasional drip of water seeping through the cracked walls and the distant croaking of swamp creatures. Scouts from the Mist Watch have discovered this tower deep within Scalemire Fen.
A party came to investigate the tower and had to maneuver around a shambling mound and ogres hiding inside the tower gleefully watching it torment a Kobold outside before the mound killed the kobold in one hit.
They discovered illusions hiding a basement, and an upper floor.
The upper floor is inaccessible unless they know the password for an arcane lock spell.
A small child named Denise was found wrapped in vines in the basement. the party returned her to Wolfs Rest
Quintus Sarrius and a group of Arcanus Academia researchers were escorted here and managed to test some magical artifact known as The Pylons, and it is rumored that they brought down a cyclops.
