Sourcedogs

Forged through generations of selective breeding and rigorous training, Sourcedogs stand as the Magisters most trusted and unrelenting tools in the hunt for Sourceweavers. Their senses, far beyond those of ordinary hounds, are honed to detect even the faintest trace of Source lingering in the air. Each Sourcedog is bound to a single master, obeying no other hand, their bond reinforced through strict conditioning and arcane sigils woven into their collars. Their purpose is singular, seek, chase, and subdue.

When the scent of Source touches their nose, their response is immediate and instinctive. Their bodies tense, ears perk forward, and their lips curl as they let loose a piercing, guttural bark that cuts through the din of city streets like a blade. It is both a warning and a promise: the hunt has begun. A Sourceweaver is near.

At their master’s command, these hounds become pursuers of unmatched speed and precision, weaving through crowds, leaping over obstacles, and closing the distance with terrifying efficiency. They do not tire, nor do they relent. When within reach, they strike, trained to grapple, drag down, and hold their target in place, their iron jaws locking around limbs with calculated restraint, preventing escape without maiming.
