The ramp of the Rogue Trader’s ornate lander hissed down, disturbing the thick, grey mist that perpetually clung to the flagstones of Grymmwatch Keep’s upper courtyard. Saren von Aurastor emerged first, a striking figure in gilt-red and black, pausing theatrically to survey the assembled Fellner nobles with predatory amusement in his mismatched eyes. He commanded attention, a vortex of off-world power and dangerous charm.

Then, almost unnoticed in von Aurastor’s wake, another figure stepped onto the ramp, moving with an unnerving, deliberate quiet. Where the Rogue Trader was flamboyant, this man was a study in contained force. He wore robes of deepest midnight blue, the fabric rich but severe, falling over what seemed to be a dark, high-collared bodyglove. A heavy coat, the colour of drying blood, was worn like a mantle over his shoulders, bearing the subtle weight of reinforcement. His face was entirely hidden behind a black, rigid mask, smooth and featureless save for the round goggle-lenses covering his eyes – one lens dark and reflective like obsidian, the other pulsing with a low, constant phosphor-green light.

His posture, as he came to a halt beside von Aurastor, was strangely relaxed, yet possessed an absolute stillness that felt profoundly unnatural. The golden Rosette (=][=) of the Holy Ordos hung over a sunken ribcage, a glint of Imperial authority nearly swallowed by shadow despite the subtle elegance of his bearing. He held himself with an unsettling stillness, a coiled tension that promised swift reprisal, and though he bore no obvious weapon, latent danger emanated from him like a palpable chill.

Saren gestured towards him, a flick of the wrist almost dismissive yet carrying an edge. "My associate in this venture, Inquisitor Silvanus van Cassian. His interests in your... unique world... align temporarily with certain necessities of my own."

The masked Inquisitor offered no Margardian Kith-Sign, no nod, no verbal greeting. He simply stood, head tilted fractionally as if analyzing the composition of the mist itself, his unnerving stillness a counterpoint to Saren's performative presence, and somehow, far more menacing.
