Viola: Corynn acts peaceful and reflective, but like a calm, deep pool of water, he hides turbulent currents beneath. He casts dangerous spells in combat, and he heals once the fighting is done. I do not know if I trust the healers. They can with-hold their vital support as their whim allows. However, Corynn does have my respect for being able to deal with all of that blood. He has my respect, but not yet my trust.

Viola: After having traveled with Corynn for a longer period of time, I better understand him. He is a nerd, like me. We enjoy the occult, histories, the theory of magic and how it is utilized. His practice of magic does not seem destructive--he aims to learn and to aid in battle (and he has protected me nearly a dozen times now). I worry for his relationship with his sister, and see a splintered reflection of myself in him. I hope the twins do not share the same fate as Dmitri and me.

Cipher: I see so much depth behind his dark eyes—things he wants to say but can’t, things he cannot say but should. He talks about how he and his sister are cursed. I wonder if he thinks I might be too. He seems to know so much about the world. I want to learn from him as much as I can.

Viola: Corynn seems to act as a caretaker for his sister, despite the other's insistence of the opposite. Her does not like revealing his innermost thoughts, going so far as to balk and run when confronted with a past lover. However, in matters unpersonal, he is a level-headed scholar, which I deeply appreciate. It is enjoyable to bounce ideas off of a great mind.
