Viola: Erynn is a strix warrior-mage who seems to be aware of the danger her own powers pose. I find this rare in such proficient magic-users, but the surprise is welcome. Despite her militaristic demeanor, she can be oddly charming. I think she enjoys my familiar, Ebon. I also think we bonded over both speaking Cyorion-Common as our second language. Perhaps we should study the tongue together sometime; I always find it easier to work in like-minded groups.

Viola: I find it more difficult to trust Erynn when her own brother does not trust her or understand the root of her magic. When people do anything for arcane power, there are always ulterior motives playing in the dark. Her reasoning seems good-natured enough, but I worry what she is willing to give or corrupt to gain power to protect. She reminds me of Dmitri--not just because of her sword and arcane talent. I hope she and her brother do not meet the same fate as me and mine.

Cipher: I didn’t understand at first. She existed without context, and so much of who she is was lost to me at first because of that. Now, after meeting so many people, speaking with so many people, I think I’m beginning to understand her. She has a fire insider her that yearns for life and freedom and, I think, answers to questions she and her brother both want. I want to help them find what they’re looking for, but I don’t know where to start.

Viola Erynn is skilled with her blade, striking out from the shadows to inflict swift death upon enemies. Her contributions to the Rookery are immense. That said... she is an awkward young adult who put herself into the service of an untrustworthy merchant and she will not hesitate to break free of previously-discussed plans and go rogue if there is even a hint of trouble, ignoring the fact that my plans always account for trouble. Now, when I plan, I must account for Erynn's deviation. Note: she also seems to have interest in Ryo besides a general curiosity for the man. I wish her the best in her pursuits; perhaps romance could help calm her battle-addled brain.
