Masquerade Role: The Forgotten Steward

• Expected to tend to others, always in the background — cleaning, pouring drinks, adjusting cloaks.

• “You were never a guest. You were always part of the Masquerade.”

Social Boon:

• +2 bonus to Stealth and Insight checks in crowded social spaces — nobles do not see him as a threat or focal point.

Insight Boon:

• Once per phase, may witness a “backstage” moment — an overheard whisper between nobles, or a vision of a servant’s memory.

Drawback:

• When Greeble speaks out of turn or demands attention, Courtiers may collectively ignore him unless aided by another party member (–2 penalty to Deception, Diplomacy unless assisted).

If Greeble tends to someone (offering drink, food, or comfort), that individual is protected from one magical effect or charm during that phase. Only once per target.
