Ven 28, 2424 - Session Zero - New Horizons

We arrived in Roveyporth in the mid morning completing our contract with the caravan
My new companions and I took our pay and walked into the the local inn, to get a some food and drink and rustle up some more work.
I overheard our caravan company concerned about another cart who should have arrived but hasn't yet.
For the right price we agreed to check it out for them. Should be a nice easy coin made.
We found the cart overturned with what I took as burn marks and stuff missing and claw marks. No bodies or sign of the travelers though.
Amani summoned some creepy zombies to protect us. God i hate when she does that.
Laslyn suggested following some tracks she found and we agreed as a group to peruse the assailants
As we start to track them 3 kobolds ambushed us and a fight ensued.
Despite some terrible throws from myself. Laslyn and Amani were able to dispatch 2 of them easily. The third fled in terror and after a quick elixir healed Laslyn she chased after him closing the gap and throwing a axe squarely at him bringing the engagement to a bloody close. After a consensus we decided to track the kobolds to see why they attacked the caravan. We safely got past a few traps laid out for us and found what we believe is the entrance of their lair. We noted the location and decided to head back into town and relay the information we gathered and find more help which I think we will need to take on this task.
