History
The village was originally established as to a dock for the nearby Obsidian Gates, later becoming a home for some of the miners and staff working the castle and the mines underneath.
Named after Edwin Mirin, one of the original settlers, who selected the site.
The location used to receive the vast majority of supplies for the Obsidian Gate, so has seen considerable development in the past.
Description
Built in a small sheltered bay with limited space, much of the village is constructed out of and into the black granite cliffs.
The village is built along three primary shelves up the northeastern cliff, giving it a tiered layout.
