Overview

• Located on the coast lining Mount Ashendel's southwestern slopes.

• Once the main dock for the Obsidian Gates, now a simple fishing village and place of residence for those staffing the castle and the mines beneath.

History

• The village was originally established as to a dock for the nearby Obsidian Gates, later becoming a home for some of the miners and staff working the castle and the mines underneath.

• Named after Edwin Mirin, one of the original settlers, who selected the site.

• The location used to receive the vast majority of supplies for the Obsidian Gate, so has seen considerable development in the past.

Description

• Built in a small sheltered bay with limited space, much of the village is constructed out of and into the black granite cliffs.

• The village is built along three primary shelves up the northeastern cliff, giving it a tiered layout.
