Age of Gods (AG on the calendar)

The wild age is brought to an end by Thaum, the god of balance, when she journeys to the distant land of Nevilla to mend the world. This begins the age of gods, a period of time when powerful entities would make themselves known, and take much to do with the world around them. Salaige would be no exception to this, becoming a source of conflict for Mot and Malakos, the chief gods of death and undeath respectively. Salaige would become intertwined in their disagreements and divine clashes, marking the land and it's history in ways both subtle and obvious.

Ito Era. AG 32251 - AG 35747

In time, a powerful and authoritarian empire born in the north western reaches of salaige would come to prominence, taking control of most if not all of the continent in the process. Despite the difficulties of managing such a large empire, the often brutal and bloody rule of the Urdians would go on for almost 4000 thousand years, subjugating and depleting Salaiges peoples before Ito, a small moon, was destroyed by an unknown force of immense power. Whilst the main body came down in the oceans just of the coast Uris, the empires motherland, what was left crashed into Uris itself in cataclysmic impacts that destroyed their home land, it's capitol city, taking the emperor and their household with it. The empire would collapse in the confusion and anarchy that was to follow, granting the many peoples of Salaige their freedom once again.

After Empire (AE 0 onwards)

This sets the stage for the contemporary era of Salaige. It is now 1172 years since Ito fell from the sky, and much has happened since that tumultuous day. The land stands battered by the ravages of time, nature and the whims of the gods. New nations have sprung forth from the carcass of the old and Salaige has begun a new era in it's history.
