The Wild Age (Unknown - 30,000 BI): Little to no information survived from this age, and the gods that existed during this time say very little. What is known is that a force commonly referred to as wild magic has saturated much of the world, making it almost impossible for civilisation to exist, as wild magic reacts to the will of those within its proximity in unpredictable and often dangerous ways. This would be brought to an end when an individual named Thaum undertook a remarkable journey to the forbidden lands of Nevllia at the heart of the world and ascended to godhood, banishing the wild energies from the world in the process.
The Cradle Age (30,000 - 28,300 BI): As the world calmed, the intelligent species of Salaige would make rapid progress as some of the more benevolent gods would assist in uplifting them, teaching them how to produce tools, fire and even the first essential metals like copper, tin and iron. With these advantages in place, many of the intelligent species began to form larger cultures and nations much sooner than they likely would have. The Cradle Age would come to an end when the gods retracted their support, seeing that their charges no longer required their protection, an event marked by the discovery of steel, the introduction of large-scale farming and the domestication of lesser beasts.
The Dead Years (28,300 - 24,000 BI):
This age is marked by the war between Mot, the chief god of death and one of his one-time subordinates, Mortis. Mortis was granted godhood by Mot, something that Mot could and would take away given a chance.
