Northtower Library
Open between dusk and dawn
In an old compact warehouse, on the bank of Eaweg sits a small library. Inside, it smells damp, while the musty, woody smell of books mixed in with a strange, smoky smell that is reminiscent of sweet maple syrup. Beams of natural light streams through the small windows along the top of tall walls but do not touch the floor. In front of these windows stand little potted plants and flowers in various stages of dying. Lanterns hanging from the ceiling are lit with pale blue or purple flames.
The floor is tiled with green moss growing between the lichen-covered stones. Along tall beams and from the tops of bookcases hang delicate green and grey fern fronds. The tall bookcases create a maze of information and knowledge that seems impossibly bigger inside than out. Throughout the entire space small bioluminescent fungi grow. A trail of wispy smoke up travelling towards the ceiling indicates where the librarian might be found.
There are several myconids helping the librarian Ereshkigal Ehecatl in managing the library but who scatter upon the sight of any other beings. Due to the nature of its attendants, the library is usually only open at night.
