The Guildhall of Questly's Squids is built in the crater of the extinct volcano known as Midway at the centre of the island of Baeldun. Being in the centre of the island means it is only about an hour's travel to the various different towns.

The guild is respected by each town and has its own building in each town for a designated purpose:

• Squids' Trading & Storehouse in South Harbour

• Sticky Cobbler Farm in Northtower

• A mining group in Iron Grave

• Forest Finest Lumber in Eastern Forest.

These organisations provide a steady income to the guild, allowing them to provide a steady income to the adventurers, aside from a small percentage of commission from jobs that come in.

Common Room

In the common room, filled with sofas and armchairs, above the fireplace hangs the great portrait of Squib Questly, the founder of the Adventurer's Guild. The illithid sits in his old armchair (now kept in the Whistlehelm Study) holding his pipe. On his lap are two black cats asleep.

Underneath the portrait, on the mantlepiece is the pipe from the portrait, kept under glass.
