"This one suggests it stay its blade and holds its tongue, if it desires to keep either."
Order master of the Gateway Custodians and most senior member of the order second only to Tristam Greystone. A stern and battle-hardened Dragonborn of ancient red lineage, Izereth is both feared and respected. A survivor of the Eir Andusk catastrophe, she has turned her trauma into purpose. Izereth embodies the Custodians’ ideals: discipline, strength, and absolute justice. She believes trust is earned slowly—and revoked swiftly.
She was the leader of the Gateway Custodians when the portal network colapsed and the Eldritch Inquisition refugees arrived at Eir Andusk. After the death of Isolde Greystone she was among the (if not THE) first to recognize Tristam Greystone as his mothers' succesor, earing his full trust in the proces.
Being perhaps the most experienced member of the Eldritch Inquisition remnants, she quickly became a mentor to Tristam Greystone and effectively second in command of the entire Inquisition. Still remaining in charge of the Gateway Custodians, she spends most of her time tending to Eir Andusk and her security needs. She hand picked the security detail guarding Eir Andusk Fortress and Tristam Greystone. As the leader of the Gateway Custodians, she is also in charge of the rituals surrounding the appeasment of Armathar's Strife, the volcano on Kiin, a duty she takes very seriously and she believes trumps any other duty that may befall her.
When performing her duties, Izereth wears the shining silver armour and grey cloak with a purple lighting bold (the heraldry of the Gateway Custodians). She wields a magic fire sword name World Eater, which she will ignite during combat.
She is one of the few people next to Tristam Greystone who know the identity of The Benefactor.
Her most loyal companion is a rather stout kobold named Drem Yollok. He shadows here wherever she goes and, unlike other Kobolds, he will not shy away from a fight. While usually quiet and resigning himself to the background, he can often be seen giving other members of Izereth's guard retinue orders when she is busy. Outside of guard duties, he often advises Izereth when it comes to matters of state concering kobolds and the kobold slums.
Usually, Izereth is very calm, she tends to avoid conflict outright, instead deciding to battle with words instead of steel. Instead of direct confrontation, she often decides to chastise people by giving backhanded compliments or sarcastic concern when adressing failure or correcting unwanted behaviour of underlings.
Like most other dragonborn hailing from Eir Andusk, she usually refers to herself in the third person as "This one". She will also adress any person that has yet to earn her respect with "it".
Izereths first and foremost concern is the safety of Eir Andusk and her order. The wants and needs of the Eldritch Inquisition come second, it just so happens that those two objectives align. Non the less, she takes her role as second in command of the Eldritch Inquisition very seriously and will not suffer failure or betrayal lightly.
She is very adept at fire magic and mixes flame based spells with quick swords stikes during combat.
Izereth is ambidexterous, but prefers to wield her sword, World Eater, in her left hand.
Living in Vokul, she will usually start her day overseeing matters concering the safety of Eir Andusk and handing out order to the peacekeepers of the island. After her morning duties, she will venture for Naal Ok Zin, only stopping at Isolde's Rest to pay her respect at the tomb of the former grandmaster. While at Naal Ok Zin she will be updated on what is happening in the city at Golz Wahlaan castle after which she will often join the city watch in patrolling parts of the city, taking the time to listen to the concerns of the citizens.
She will have lunch with Tristam Greystone at Eir Anduks fortress, during and after which matters concering the Eldritch Inquisition will be discussed. The rest of her day will be spend seeing to important matters, training or, on rare occasions, spend on leisure activities.
Yolosviing meas "Flamewing" in the dragonborn tongue.
