You conjure a portal that links an unoccupied space within range to the Mythos Library, typically the great hall. The portal manifests as a circular opening, yet with star-like details, and fills a 5-foot square. The portal can accommodate creatures of Small or Medium size.

The portal lasts for the duration, or until you step through it. The portal has two sides: one on your plane, and one in the Mythos Library. You must enter the portal through its front (the side facing you), and cannot exit through the back. The portal remains open as long as you concentrate, or until you step through.

The portal doesn't allow anyone else to step through.

Once you pass through the portal, a small star-shaped symbol appears on your arm. The symbol lasts until the end of your next long rest. By invoking the symbol with a action, you may cast this spell again, and the portal will link to the same destination from which you originally traveled.
