Session 2 Summary

The group sets out to travel to Moonlit Birch, but they first rest a few minutes at a riverbank. Emathion identifies the mysterious gloves that he found earlier and uncovers they could be very useful for either Myra or Torbin, the two decide on a little contest who gets the gloves, but it seems that the gloves were nicked right from under their noses by a sneaky Wolffolk named Nickit of Silverveil. Torbin confronts him learning that tribe-members of the Silverveiled Tribe are much further south than they usually are. Meaning that something is up...

After retrieving the gloves back peacefully, the group travels to Moonlit Birch, finding it deserted with many killed undead corpses on the ground. They decide to investigate one of the houses where they are mysteriously attacked by a blanket?! Which turns out to be a mimic?! After defeating it, they discover that the remaining townsfolk have bordered themselves inside another building. Where they learn that a mysterious trader sold some of the townsfolk a few items which came to life and killed people. The group manage to defeat the other mimics hiding in the town with the help of Julius Alberts and Lobedia Alberts.

The two tell the group that an undead Ogre was lured to the town by a blonde Pouchfoot. But what reason could Clarisse have to do that? The remaining villagers decide to retreat back to Morganna, since that this place isn't safe.

The group decide to make camp in Moonlit Birch before traveling further towards south. While Torbin keeps watch, he is approached by "Randolf of Silverveil". He informs Torbin that Luna of The Southern Tribe is missing along with her 'boy-toy' Korfel Arvastan. Torbin learns that some members of the Northern Tribe also were attacked by the undead and that a mysterious black-haired woman is connected to it. Randolf is following the scent of a pluck of blond hair which he found on one of the undead corpses. He warns them if they are discovered in Moonlit Peak, the southern tribe might attack them.

The next morning the group head towards Korfel and Luna's Cabin. While on the road, the group encounters Korfel on the road, but his eyes are glowing red and he seems to be patrolling with the undead. He speaks in a strange tone and once the group approaches, he orders the undead to attack. He dodges many of the attacks thrown at him.

But the group manage to defeat the undead and knock him out, pushing him out of the mysterious trance that he was in. He tells that that he and his partner Luna were approached by two women, but he doesn't know everything.

Korfel guides them towards the cabin, where the group once again meet Nickit of Silverveil it. While resting and thinking of a new plan, Korfel hears strange whispers again and the group uncovers that he has a strange N marked into his skin. Myra scratches the mark out, causing Korfel's possession to end... Korfel's headache fades.

Although Korfel is pretty hurt, but the group need him to get into the Southern territory.
