Legend Macbeth is a legendary figure from tales of a land lost to history. He was once a valorous warrior and respected leader, revered for his courage and loyalty.However, driven by an insatiable ambition and ominous prophecies from seers, he descended into a state of paranoia and tyranny. This obsession with dominance ultimately consumed him, leading to his tragic end and cementing his story as a stark reminder of the perils of unchecked ambition. It is not known if Macbeth ever had a Mythos partner, and it appears he never found peace, remaining in a haunted and delusional state. He was contained within the Book of King Macbeth, a tome held in a hidden library underneath Ruins of Fallowbrae.

In 239 ATC, a young scholar named Henry took Macbeth's book from the library. Fueled by a desire for revenge against his own family for sacrificing children to the Flame Emperor, Surtr, Henry sought to use Macbeth's power. The spirit of Macbeth clung to Henry, turning his eyes red and whispering to him, encouraging his dark path. Henry's plan was to construct a new physical body for Macbeth from a piece of Yggdrasil, which would allow the spirit to manifest and help him get his revenge.

Macbeth's plan to gain a new physical body was thwarted by the Voidbreakers Alaric, Ginny, and Arvin. During the final battle, Macbeth was defeated by Arvin and dissolved into a large cloud of purple smoke, desperately shouting, "No! This was my chance! I don’t want to go back there!" before vanishing completely.

Upon his defeat, the Book of King Macbeth disintegrated, leaving nothing behind with only a harrowing echo in their minds. "Oh well... Perhaps he'll be more useful in a decade." According to the library's caretaker, Fyldric, Macbeth’s spirit is now trapped in a desolate realm known as "The Edge" a place of imprisonment for lost legends.
