The Angel Islands

The Angel Islands were once the homeland of the winged race known as the Erathiel—a noble, graceful people who lived in harmony with nature and one another. Their radiant wings were said to shine like the sun, and their society flourished in peace and beauty. Across the islands, grand cities and majestic temples stood as symbols of their refined culture.
The heart of their civilization was Overcloud, a mythical flying city held aloft by powerful magic and the Erathiel’s deep bond with the sky.

However, their golden age came to a tragic end. The Luvar, driven by jealousy and fear of the Erathiel’s unique powers, began a brutal persecution. Other races soon followed, fueled by superstition, and the Erathiel were hunted nearly to extinction. The survivors fled to the Angel Islands.

Today, the islands are a fractured refuge, inhabited by a minority of Erathiel and scattered groups of other races without a unified structure. Much of the once-great architecture lies in ruins, and the landscapes bear the scars of ancient conflict. Located within the Draikar Sea, the surrounding waters are perilous and unpredictable. The remaining Erathiel struggle to survive in what was once their paradise.

Aster Island

Aster Island is a small, rugged landform characterized by steep cliffs, rocky terrain, and dense vegetation. Its forests are rich with wildlife, and the island is said to pulse with divine energy, a lingering remnant of the gods’ wrath toward the Erathiel.
Many believe this spiritual force shapes the island’s atmosphere and the creatures that live upon it.

Overcloud

Overcloud was the legendary capital of the Angel Islands and the only flying city in Vitallia. Suspended in the sky by potent magic, it could only be reached by flight or specially crafted elevators.
The city was a masterpiece of Erathiel architecture, filled with soaring spires, cloud-piercing towers, and radiant palaces.

During the persecution by the Luvar, Overcloud became one of the principal battlegrounds. Now abandoned and shattered, it drifts in ruin—its magic fading and its halls empty. Only a few Erathiel now inhabit the devastated lands below, clinging to the memories of their once-great civilization.

Sarlin

Sarlin is one of the smaller islands, home to a community of Erathiel who have managed to preserve a measure of peace and balance.
The residents of Sarlin maintain a strong connection to nature and continue to uphold ancient traditions. The island houses numerous temples and sacred sites, still used for rituals and spiritual ceremonies that honor the Erathiel legacy.

Starblaze

Starblaze is a large island marked by devastation. Cursed with multiple supernatural afflictions, it became uninhabitable over time. Settlements crumbled, populations dwindled, and only a small number of loyal Erathiel remain—those unwilling to abandon their ancestral home.
The island stands as a haunting reminder of divine cruelty and the tragic downfall of the Erathiel race.
