Household heads act as the primary spiritual leaders, maintaining small shrines or statues within their homes. In larger settlements, communal wooden temples exist, often maintained by priests who are homeless or without family. Worship focuses on a pantheon of deities tied to the natural world, exploration, and ancestral lineage.

Principal Deities

• Varangr & Auðmaer – The highest and most revered gods, often worshipped together as primal forces of creation and protection.

• Ættǫrr – Son of Varangr and Auðmaer, known as the Chaotic Good god of exploration, wanderers, and poetry. A shapeshifter whose preferred form is a great white bear, Ættǫrr represents the restless spirit and curiosity of the Orkfjarric people. His sister-wife, Íækvins, embodies beauty and guidance. Legend holds that all Orkfjarric descend from Ættǫrr and Íækvins, who will lead their people to safety when the Joring arrives.

Other Deities
The Orkfjarric also recognise a wider pantheon of gods, each associated with aspects of nature, craft, or morality: Dagan, Barica, Hwen, Noctia, and Floric. Though revered, these deities are secondary to the core triad of Varangr, Auðmaer, and Ættǫrr.
