Price- Salvage Value
Bulk-L
Source When you use the Salvage activity on a damaged Tech creature or device that produces sonic or auditory effects—such as a Wingbot with the Trill ability, sonic crowd‑control drones, alarm sirens, or weapons with the sonic trait—you can choose to recover a Resonance Pulse Assembly as one of the components you gain, if the source wasn’t completely slagged.
A Resonance Pulse Assembly is a compact driver that converts power into tightly‑shaped vibration: piezo stacks, harmonic chambers, and a control module that can sweep frequencies from subsonic rumbles to piercing shrieks. In a Wingbot, this assembly sits behind its speaker vents and fuels its Trill—the shrieking, EM‑laced pulse that inflicts Glitching on Tech creatures and Sickened on others.
Usage
Counts as a specialized Tech component for crafting, repairing, or upgrading sonic or vibration‑based devices: sonic weapons, EM‑pulse sirens, haptic feedback systems, acoustic scanners, and Trill‑like emitters.
You can apply the component’s full Salvage Value toward the crafting cost of any Item or Construct with the Tech trait.
When used in crafting a Tech item with the sonic trait (weapon, gadget, or Tech hazard), the Resonance Pulse Assembly you incorporate reduces the crafting time by 1 day (minimum 1 day), representing reusing a pre‑tuned resonance driver instead of engineering one from scratch.
