The Volksmilitar is the Nation's main combatant force, currently stationed on Cantor-13 under the umbrella and jurisdiction of the Protektoriate present. They will be primarily the offense force when exploring different regions in and around Cantor-13. Each member of the Volksmilitar is either a member of the Volksarmee or Volksmarine, with the line blurring for offiziers and kommandants.

The Volksmilitar is structured in tiers of command. A Kommandant (Commander) might command a single vessel or group of vessels, a Regionalbefehlshaber (Regional Commander) generally has command of a region or specific Kommandants with their staff, and a Oberbefehlshaber (Supreme Commander) generally has command of an entire theater (or planet). The Marschall des Volksmilitärs (Marshal of the People's Military) is special in that there is only one; that individual serves as the overseer of all military operations within the Eusan Nation.
