Station Mantelkern is the southernmost station on Svarog, and it is the Empire's largest manufacturer of semiconductors. Beyond that, it is a major producer of magnesium, aluminum, and water.

If Svarog were somehow cut off from food resources from Station Eisnoten through Route Endurance, it is often theorized that Station Mantelkern would be the last to suffer the consequences due to their supply of water and the pipeline effect caused by extreme distance from the source.
