Spell Description:

You spend an hour enchanting a scroll meant to hold a spell, known as a caster’s scroll. Each available cast spent doing so halves the time to cast this spell.

Writing a spell unto a scroll requires a blank Caster’s Scroll, and Myst Ink, or another magical writing utensil. To transfer a spell to a scroll, you must be attuned to the spell. You then expend an available cast as you transfer the spell unto the scroll over the course of a period of time. During this time, you employ any components that would be required to cast the spell.

The time required to transfer the spell to the scroll is based upon the attunement requirements of the spell. To determine the time, multiply the highest attribute requirement by the amount of attunement slots required. The resulting value is the amount of time in minutes it would take to write the scroll.

For example, a spell that requires 20 Arcane and 2 attunement slots would require 40 minutes to transfer unto a scroll.

When a Caster’s Scroll is read, it acts as if you are casting the spell normally, excluding Material components. The scroll burns away once the spell is cast, it's Myst spent.

The completed scrolls are often used to teach others spells, or to supplement ones casting abilities in times of need. The art of preparing the scrolls themselves can be daunting to those less initiated, however.
