The "Collared Crater", as it has come to be known, is a roughly circular crater carved into the earth and stone measuring close to 3.5km in width. The "collar" in the name comes from the short fence that encircles the ridge.
Made from a white coloured stone, and by all accounts seemingly carved from a single piece of gargantuan rock, the fence exhibits no unusual properties. The interior of the crater shows very few signs of wear and tear, however it seems foolish to assume this means it is a recent development. Any connecting infrastructure seeming to have long ago faded away.
A small lake has formed at the bottom.
