A dark silver tower emerges from the still earth and reaches impossibly high into the sky, with steep sides the structure almost seems a needle poised to pierce the heavens themselves. Starfall gets its name from the local phenomena of nightly showers of falling stars. On some occasions streaks of light can even be seen during the day, seeming to strike the tower itself, though no adverse effects result.

The tower's dark and silvery material is covered in elaborate, dark blue patterns, giving reflected light a blue tint. An odd phenomena of the tower is that it can be seen before it logically should be, the point seeming to rise over the horizon long before observers come within expected visual range. The mechanism of this effect is currently unknown.

Those with the Gift sometimes report an almost overwhelming sense of arcana at the base of the tower, though many have tried to tap into it in some manner it seems the mechanism of Starfall is tightly connected to some underground element even now. Some more eccentric wizards have put forward some truly extravagant theories for what the precursors may have used it for, though no answer is forthcoming.
