Overview

One of the few regions of the old Kingdom of Galdoria to maintain any semblance of order, the Barony of Estania stands between the shadow cursed regions of the old kingdom's heartland to the north and the Undead Wastes to the south.

A mixture of rolling hills and flat plains. Dominated by three large hills known as The Three Sisters, with sizable forests to the north and south.

The Wandering Dead

Roaming undead form the south are a constant threat to the people of Estania, while shambling and listless during the day, they take on a more frenzied demeanor when the sun sets. Hordes of undead have been known to form on rare occasions, spelling doom for any in their path.

The locals rely on stout walls, warded artefacts or both to shield their homes and hearths from such a threat.

Bands of warrior such as the The Grey Rangers do what they can to patrol the wilderness and keep the threat to a minimum but there are too few of them to guarantee security.
