Central Tenets

Most of the tritons are a form of paladin and have the devotion that comes with such career. They hold the ideals of standard lawful good philosophies:

• Always help people that need it.

• If a battle must be fought, do it honestly.

• Deprave yourself from sins.

For those that would lose themselves to sin as simple as stealing, will be prosecuted

If a triton is found guilty thrown their fins will be reduced and they are then thrown into divine defiance. If they were to die for the cause, then in the afterlife they will be forgiven.

Founding
Elf convergence

The first tritons that found themselves inside our world didn't even know that they were on a new plane. They simply went along their business killing monsters like always with greater ease since these monsters didn't know any worthy opponents. But after a while the few tritons started an enclave having learned that there was no way back home. Calling it Flyan in the remembrance of their lovers they would never see again.

Event
During the The Starfall Disruption, the barrier between worlds had weakened substantially, allowing tritons to move from our world to others. While reconnecting with their home world was difficult after their cultures had shifted so far away from each other, they are still welcomed with open arms.

Each triton will be given a bracelet for their rank, with each rank up they will customize it with an object dear to their heart. Every item is engraved with the symbol of that rank, many knights customize their bracelets with trophies.

The triton society has based itself around a strong and firm militant class system which doesn't allow members to change their ways. People are assigned their place in the settlements by the age of 6 based on simple talents or fondness, this placement is for life.

A couple of tritons have attempted to change this policy by learning magic as a warrior, but it only allowed them to walk into the deep sea or be banished.

Emissaries

Tritons are commonly the first to make contact with other cultures and races, they are relatively charismatic and know how to take a punch. While the concept of the idea is solid, the use of veterans with relatively xenophobic worldviews tend to results in the start of wars.
