New characters may choose one of the following packs.

Each pack includes:

The backpack is already included in a character’s normal carrying capacity.

Each pack fills 5–6 slots, including rations, leaving space for weapons, armor, tools, and treasure.

Optional Addition: Empty Sack

I would consider adding this back in, but not inside every pack automatically.

Instead:

New characters may also begin with one folded empty sack if the Referee wants treasure-hauling to matter immediately.
