Overview

The Organic Waste Disposal Zone, colloquially known as Gorummage by hubfolk, is a district-sized garbage heap. All of Hub's organic trash, be it leftover food, bodily waste, or even unclaimed bodies, is brought to Gorummage to be recycled into fuel for the Bain-marie’s furnaces. For obvious reasons, the surrounding districts are not very desirable to live in and therefore very cheap.

None of the guilds dare govern Gorummage, but there are the warring Clans of Gorummage that try to keep some semblance of order.

Gorummage is directly adjacent to Hopstand’s Grand Furnaces.

Inhabitants

It is known that Gorummage houses a small population of orphans and undesirables that scour the heaps for edible scraps and any usable trinkets they could sell off. It is believed that Varmint originated from eating too much of the toxic waste here.

Cuisine

Gorummage's inhabitants eat whatever they can get their hands on and are therefore said to have an iron stomach. It would not be accurate to call any dish they cook up from the garbage "cooking", but many people who have lived here claim to get cravings for Gorummage's slop from time to time.
