The garbage heap of Gorummage is a dog-eat-dog place, where undesirables fight for survival. To achieve this, many of the locals band together into loose “clans” for protection. Even though tribalism runs strong, these alliances are often fickle and very temporary. One self-proclaimed warlord would be overthrown by the other an hour after their coronation. Everyone desperately tries to claw their way to the top. Over the years, however, some household names have stuck around, and newcomers would do well to remember those names and their associates.
These volatile politics hardly ever leave the trash pile, and outside of the rickety shanty towns that make up the waste disposal zone, all of Gorrumage's inhabitants are still considered bottom-rung.
