Shiosaki — "tide cape" — is the fortified market town on the western shore of the Sea of Ghosts, a long day's ride east of Yanagihama, where the Ayuri River meets open water. Walled, watchful, and stubbornly mercantile, it is the deep province's window on the world: whatever Yanagihama can't make for itself comes up the lake through Shiosaki's harbor, and whatever the town sells goes back the same way.
The fortress predates the Severing and survived it by being too useful to sack and too walled to bother with; its gate lanterns have not gone out in living memory, and the town intends to keep it that way. Its shrine district boasts a true working temple of Aishin, whose exorcists and grave-wardens serve the whole lake shore — the people you send for when something buried won't stay that way.
