The Arboreal Wardens are believed to be enchanted descendants of an ancient spirit that once inhabited the forest, and they play a crucial role in maintaining the balance and sanctity of Mel's Arbor.

Faelight Butterflies

Faelight Butterflies are delicate and ethereal creatures, their wings glowing softly in various colors, particularly at dawn and dusk. Their wings are semi-transparent, with patterns that resemble constellations or magical symbols, and they emit a soft, colorful light that seems to pulse in time with the forest's natural energy. These butterflies are believed to be spirits of the forest or messengers of Cú Mhaol and Aisling, fluttering through the trees as if dancing on the wind. Greenstone Toads are unique amphibians that inhabit the many streams, ponds, and hidden springs of Mel's Arbor. Their skin resembles polished green stones, with hues ranging from deep emerald to light jade, giving them a camouflaged appearance among the moss-covered rocks. These toads are known for their melodious croaking, which is said to have hypnotic or calming properties, especially during the quiet nights in the forest. Greenstone Toads are considered symbols of transformation and renewal, often associated with water magic and purification rituals. They are believed to possess a natural affinity for magical energies, and their presence is thought to purify the water sources they inhabit, making them vital to the ecosystem of Mel's Arbor.

Songbirds of Mel’s Arbor

Thornback Deer

These deer are smaller than their ordinary counterparts but are incredibly agile and swift, able to dart through the dense underbrush with ease.
