Last we left off…
You had all spent some time translating the notes found in the abandoned laboratory, meeting a new ally along the way. These notes spoke of a fiery fox and a hound of darkness, one of which you'd vanquished previously. Suya Aito directed you to the Solar Orcs, who are located close to the growing patch of darkness in the forest, and you headed on your way there.
How do you feel about the combat?
Good! Now that I have read and understood my character sheet better I'm finally dealing the damage I should've been doing the whole time which is much more fun.
What do you want to see more of?
Combats!
What do you want to see less of?
I'll use this space to agree with Tim's second point. It's pretty much my character but the extended travel leaves me with precious little genuinely useful exploration activity. If I'm wrong in this or overlooking something definitely let me know though.
What was your favourite/most memorable moment?
I enjoyed the statue amongst the ruins segment, lots of fun information gathering and theorycrafting
What do you want to accomplish next session?
Defeat a dragon, but if that's too fast then I guess I'd like to meet those orcs
How do you feel about the combat?
Combat was fun, got smacked hard lol
What do you want to see more of?
Combat and interesting world relics were cool
What do you want to see less of?
I do agree with the travel could be a bit more condensed due to my characters high rolls on the checks it kind of breaks this style of travelling
What was your favourite/most memorable moment?
Honestly the encounter that happens when everyone is not awake is interesting and led to some higher stakes combat which was interesting
What do you want to accomplish next session?
Reach the orcs, prevent the other two from being turned to ash by dragons
How do you feel about the combat?
Fun! Being thrown into subpar/unexpected situations and having to figure out how to deal with them is always the most rewarding. Impromptu balancing is always part of the game too 😛
What do you want to see more of?
So far most social interactions with npcs were short one-offs (poracha, crow for example), I'd appreciate if somewhere down the line characters/factions recurring more could find a place. Build a rapport, influence, maybe politick a little. (Though I tried really hard finding something here, but I dislike skipping this as often as I did )
What do you want to see less of?
The opinions regarding travel seem to converge quite a bit with my feedback from last time, so I'm officially going to voice a preference for more condensed travel here.
What was your favourite/most memorable moment?
Having managed to stay awake till the end of the session despite being horribly tired (sorry for not participating more that session)
What do you want to accomplish next session?slay a dragon I'm mostly curious what kind of challenge/content awaits at the orcs.
How do you feel about the combat?
I'm gonna have to turn into zacian cause the d4s aint cutting it (get it cause its bludgeoning)
What do you want to see more of?
Travel is an interesting mechanic, however the rolls should probably be a bit more condensed rather than rolling like 3-4 times without much happening.
What do you want to see less of?
-
What was your favourite/most memorable moment?
I think it was cool having a random encounter that left us very unprepared.
What do you want to accomplish next session?
Still trying to find evil seeker, also get a better weapon.
