Known as the Queen of Night and Magic, Sarastra of the Twilight Court was the dominant ruler of the Feywild - the Fey Ascendant. The seat of her power was a towering castle of glass floating on platforms in the city of Equinox.

An enigmatic but undeniably powerful Archfey, she seemed to have some view that Daring Heights was at least partial hers, as the Feywild echo of the city has been marked as belonging to her with runestones. As the Bear King is a vassal to the Queen of Night and Magic, and Daring retains a deal with the Bear King following his aid in retaking the city from the orcs, Daring is tied to Sarastra and her court in a number of ways - though day to day no one would even know.

At the end of Season 7: The Aegis Accords, Sarastra was murdered at the signing of the accords in Fort Ettin via a poisoned chalice, planned by Langston Farstep and Jack. As Queen of the Twilight Court, she was eventually succeeded by Queen Miandra Gleaming. As Fey Ascendant, that title passed to Queen Nicnevin of the Witching Court.
