Eric Figwort the Town Reeve is concerned about the safety of merchants traveling in the Grimmark. He worries that if too many go missing, Baron Clegg Rotherbourne will march north with his army and claim the land for himself. Recently, a group of wealthy, adventurous, and foolhardy merchants went missing when traveling along the North Road. If the party can find and rescue them, Eric Figwort will throw a festival in their honor in the town square, increasing their renown in the area.
