Description

Ardenvast is a continent best described as isolationist. Trade between nations is minimal, and borders are carefully drawn and closely guarded. Most keep to themselves, suspicious of their neighbors' intentions or assured of their own superiority.

History

Humans are, relatively, newly arrived on Ardenvast, having arrived in waves across the eastern ocean nearly a millennia ago. Most settled in what would later become Azam, allying with the dwarven kingdom of Darem to create Darem Azam. Many also immigrated to what would soon become Sun City, quickly absorbing the small, fragmented groups of the region into a single united nation. Despite their common roots, these two nations would soon fall into a relentless war, spanning the better part of the past century.
