Overview

Bahamut and Tiamat are the mightiest of the dragons, excluding their mother Dragavar. Known as The Creators, they chose to travel the planes when the rest of their Gem Dragon kin sought to remain in the familiar stretches of The Astral Plane.

Bahamut and Tiamat journeyed together across the planes as they were born, making them a member of the small group of deities with extensive firsthand experience of multiple newborn planes.

With their worldly wisdom, they assisted Dragavar with the creation of the chromatic dragons for The Elemental Planes. Later, the two moved to the barren Material Plane, where eventually they created the metallic dragons.

The creation of the metallic dragons was the last act Bahamut and Tiamat would ever perform together. Exhausted by the creation of their children, both dragons left behind their journeys and creations to slumber, remaining hidden away to this day.

Bahamut is known as The Iron Wrought for his unflinching sense of justice. Before his slumber, Bahamut was known for wandering the realms in disguises and observing the inhabitants. He had a habit of interfering whenever he witnessed something he felt unjust, stepping in to protect the meek or punish the cruel. He was also known for his wrathful sense of eye-for-an-eye justice.

Influences

Bahamut seeks justice, but is not a being of order. He seeks to fulfill his own whims, journeying with his sister Tiamat. His enforcement of justice has more to do with his own feelings of what is right than the feelings or needs of those whose lives he involves himself with.

Bahamut is close with his mother, Dragavar, and sister, Tiamat. Not one to be quiet, or tactful, in his opinions, he has both many allies and many enemies across the planes from those he has aided or crossed over the ages.
