Overview

Bahamut and Tiamat are the mightiest of the dragons, excluding their mother Dragavar. Known as The Creators, they chose to travel the planes when the rest of their Gem Dragon kin sought to remain in the familiar stretches of The Astral Plane.

Bahamut and Tiamat journeyed together across the planes as they were born, making them a member of the small group of deities with extensive firsthand experience of multiple newborn planes.

With their worldly wisdom, they assisted Dragavar with the creation of the chromatic dragons for The Elemental Planes. Later, the two moved to the barren Material Plane, where eventually they created the metallic dragons.

The creation of the metallic dragons was the last act Bahamut and Tiamat would ever perform together. Exhausted by the creation of their children, both dragons left behind their journeys and creations to slumber, remaining hidden away to this day.

Tiamat is more order focused than her brother Bahamut. She has a peculiar fascination with religious orders. Like her brother, she often takes disguises to observe other planes, and frequently joins religious orders dedicated to various deities.

Appearance

<How does the deity appear in artwork, teachings, or depictions to a typical follower? If this deity is known to show themselves to mortals directly, what are their most common forms? Does the deity change shape, or have multiple forms?>

Holy Symbol

<How does a cleric or champion of this deity identify themselves as such by appearance?>

Influences

Tiamat enjoys learning more about worship and weaker creatures' perspectives of deities.

Tiamat is close with her mother, Dragavar, and brother, Bahamut. She has many close connections to various religious orders she has worked in in The Shadow Wild and The Elemental Planes. She is also close with many of the deities who take interest in matters outside of their immediate sphere.
