One fateful night, monstrous forces from the Darfall Wastes descended upon his village, leaving devastation in their wake. The Sunsteel Legion, sworn enemies of both the monstrous hordes and the Skolgard tribes, intervened in a ruthless purge, slaying both invaders and villagers alike.

As a child, Soren witnessed a scene that would forever shape his destiny. Towering warriors clad in impenetrable holy armor descended upon this chaos like a divine beings, cutting down the horrors that invaded his village.

Amidst the battle, Soren’s unyielding will to survive drew the paladins’ attention. Seeing potential in the boy, they took him in as an apprentice. Over the years, Soren embraced the Legion’s teachings, fortifying his body and his faith in Solara. Through grueling trials and unwavering discipline, he eventually undertook the Rite of Illumination, emerging as a formidable paladin blessed with divine magic.
