The party met with two figures from the Ghostwalkers, Whisper and Echo. They gave the party some activities to choose from that they thought would help further their goals, and the party's goals. The party decided to go and talk with the mortician that handled Nuso's corpse.

The mortician was a pale elf named Isarath. The party sat down to talk with this man to get some answers. This went mostly well. Kadriel, Zahara, and Liengod made strong positive impressions right out the gate, but this was offset by the party being a little too blunt and direct with their questions at times.

After a while the mortician tells the party that he received the body preprepared and incased in wax. This lead the group to believe that the body was staged, and potentially not Nuso. The party was able to confirm that the body was a decoy from the lingering divination curse energies.

The party went to investigate the remains with the help of the mortician. He had kept a piece of the body and was willing to perform the rite to help shed light on what happened. What the party did not know was that the loci became infused with occult energies. A haunt had developed. Liengod began to placate the energies through a religious rite. Then... Prickles got angry. She began to rampage around the room screaming at the Haunt. The rite does finally go off showing an image. Nuso not dead, and a cryptic line, "They know of the Spiral, you must finish this!"
