• Expected to host, to feign importance, to carry a name they no longer remember.

• Guests speak to them as if they are someone else — a noble who disappeared long ago.

Social Boon:

• Ryo gains a +1 status bonus to Impress or Request actions while in conversation with nobles or servants — they believe him to be a forgotten lineage.

Insight Boon:

• Once per phase, Ryo may speak in a “royal truth,” asserting knowledge of courtly matters. On success, the Court treats his word as law for 1 social interaction (GM discretion).

• On the Final Spiral: +2 bonus to Influence actions against any Courtier during the Final Spiral phase.

Drawback:

• Every time Ryo fails a social check, his body becomes briefly fragile. He takes a –1 AC penalty for 1 round in combat or until he leaves the area.
