Magical, fast-acting infusions designed for use in the heat of battle.

Elixir / Extract

Standard Action (Immediate effect)

A character may only be under the effects of one tonic or elixir at a time and the effects from multiple do not stack.

Alchemical and concentrated. Potent, but requires more time and focus to consume.

Tonics

Standard Action (Delayed effect)

A character may only be under the effects of one tonic or elixir at a time and the effects from multiple do not stack.

Effects typically occur at the beginning of your next combat turn (unless noted otherwise).

Teas/Draughts

Used Outside Combat (1 minute to effect)

A character may only be under the effects of one tea or draught at a time and the effects from multiple do not stack.

Sipped or slowly absorbed. Effects start within 1 minutes (unless noted otherwise).

Poultice / Salve

Standard Action (Delayed effect)

A creature can only benefit from one poultice per Short Rest.

Topical application. Takes effect at the start of the target’s next turn unless otherwise noted.

Antidote

Standard Action (Immediate effect)

A character can take multiple antidotes and can benefit from the secondary effects of multiple antidotes at once, as long as they don’t provide the same type of effect.

Feeding/applying to another character is a standard action as well.

🩹 Stacking Poultices During a Short Rest

In Elandorel, adventurers often carry more than one type of healing item—but there are limits to what the body can absorb in a single rest.

āš–ļø Poultice Stacking Rule

You may use more than one poultice during a Short Rest (such as a Feytouched Healing Poultice and Moonmoss Wraps), but you may only gain bonus hit points from one of them. You choose which poultice provides the healing.

For example: If you use both a Feytouched Poultice and a Moonmoss Wrap, you decide which one grants the bonus healing dice. The other still applies its non-healing effects (such as curing poison or granting resistance).

āœ… All Other Effects Still Apply

Even if you don’t gain HP from both poultices, you still benefit from:

  • Curing the poisoned condition (e.g., from Moonmoss Wraps)

  • Gaining advantage on saving throws vs disease or other effects

  • Any other specific condition-based benefits listed in the item
