Group Skill Checks:

When multiple players attempt the same skill check as a group, the roll is made using the highest modifier among the group. Any additional characters who are proficient in that skill provide a +2 bonus to the roll, representing their combined expertise and assistance.

However, some skill checks are inherently individual tasks and must be rolled separately for each character. This includes Perception checks, Swimming checks, and other tasks where success depends on personal ability rather than teamwork.

This system ensures that group efforts feel truly collaborative while keeping the game flowing smoothly.

Note: This rule deviates from the official ruling in the Player’s Handbook, where assisting another character on a skill check normally grants them advantage. However, since the official rules state that multiple sources of advantage do not stack and are ignored, we have moved to this system to allow more characters to contribute meaningfully in group skill checks.
