During the siege of Stormhaven members of the Order of the Black Shield and several heroes aided the Stormhaven standing army to defend the north western gate. The besieging force ,consisting of Crusaders of Lady Elaine, employed several siege monsters and soon proved too much for the defenders to hold. The gate fell and in a last ditch attempt to let his fellw defender escape, Hector charged the invading force. He was subsequently captured by the crusaders and later handed over to The Lord's Alliance.

During his incarceration in Stormhaven, several attempts to break him out were made. However, since he was being held in the former headquarters of the Eldritch Inquisition, he was locked away securely and all attempts failed. He has since been transported to another unknown facility, his fate and whereabouts are currently unkown, but reports state that he is sitll alive and the Lord's Alliance has spent the best part of the last decade trying to coax information about magical artifacts out of him ... apparently to no avail.
