Morub is a druid who was raised in realm of nature's wonders and unpredictable magic. Under the guidance of others, Morub learned to wield the elemental fury of fire while sometimes struggling with its healing and nurturing side. Morub joined a unique teaching circle and befriended fellow students, including a hot-blooded warrior and a curious monk. His story seems to be incomplete, which caused his memories and experiences to become hazy and confusing.
Morub's journey intertwined with a mysterious young lady from 'the other side'. He joins her onto her quest of discovering the mysterious imbalances that threaten her world. Morub alongside several others, discovered a secret cult of blood mages underneath the city led by strange beings. His story seems to be incomplete, which caused his memories and experiences to become hazy and confusing.
After his last adventure at sea, Morub, together with his friends, arrived in a city named Neverwinter. Uncertain of what the future would hold, the group decided to split up. Thordan, a good friend of Morub, went to look for his sister. Valentina had to make deals in the shady underworld of Neverwinter and deal with the aftermath of the island. Giorno decided that this world, not the Feywilds, needed to be discovered. Morub was left alone, unsure how to proceed. He felt like a leaf ripped from a tree, forced to deal with his feelings of grief and sorrow that he was left with. Powerless, since his Fire Shard was taken from him, he decided that he needed to return to the Feywilds. Virion, his old mentor, would know what to do.
And so, in the coming months, Morub went and tried to find a portal to the Feywilds. An unusual task in the world he found himself in. Even those with ties to nature magic could not help him. Eventually, Morub himself—unsure of how it happened—ended up in the Feywilds, in the Autumn Court, where he found Virion. Virion welcomed his old pupil, as it had been some time since he last saw him. Even though Virion could not help Morub with restoring his magic, he did tell him of his past and that maybe his father could help him recover what was lost.
Morub, his heart set ablaze with his new goal, decided that he should return to the mortal plains and find his father's tribe. After months of searching, he tracked down the Orc tribe he may have once been part of. Surprising to Morub, he was, hesitantly, welcomed by his old tribe. His father, the Chieftain, did not reveal himself at first, and to learn the truth, Morub had to prove himself and be initiated into the ways of the Flametribe. Morub was quick in making the customs of his once home his own, and within a week the Chieftain called Morub to him. He revealed the truth: that indeed his mother was once his wife and that he had hoped to prevent Morub from being cast out. The Chief revealed that Morub was born with unusual abilities, related to the power of the Flame, and that unseen powers wished to take those for their own. It turns out that Morub's mother left to protect her son from these dark powers.
Having renewed his relationship with his father and learning the truth, Morub still had not found the flame within himself again. However, his father knew of another way he might regain what was lost. The father and son went on a long journey, deep within the forest. There, Morub and his father completed a ritual to the spirit of the Flames. His first mentor, the spirit that took Morub to the Feywilds after his mother made a deal with him, revealed himself. It was Fionnlagh, a fox-like flame spirit that appeared before Morub. Overcome with emotion, the two reunited under the watchful eye of his father, the Orc Chief. Fionnlagh taught Morub a final lesson, a way to always return to the Autumn Court and reinvigorate his connection to that plane. When this lesson was complete, Morub regained his Flame Shard and became not only a bridge between the Orcs and the Other, but also between the Fey and the Mortal. The tale hereafter becomes clouded in myth and legend. There are stories of Morub helping the Orcs and others work together to form more balanced societies. There are also tales of Morub fighting against those who tried to take his power when he was but a baby. There are even tales that Morub helped the Knight of Unity combine the world and the Feywilds against the forces of Evil. What is certain is that he became known as the 'Flame of Harmony,' always teaching the importance of working together and standing firm against the Darkness.
