The Era of Sparks. A time before the mortal races of Ignisar existed, the mystical force referred to as The Spark gave form to everything, brought life, and gifted the new inhabitants of Ignisar with a mystical kind of magic referred to as "The Breath".
This era laid the foundation for the wonders that grace the continent of Ignisar.

Here's a list of everything that belongs to this section:

Creation of Existence Itself | ??? B.T.C

How the continent of Ignisar and its outer planes was created is something that isn’t understood nor comprehended, it is mostly just speculated about. Yet what many can agree upon is that the world's is that it must have come from some kind of "Spark", a cosmic event that brought the two forces of creation and destruction into reality.

Ancient documents found in Arnewynd's lost temples, shrines or mansions suggest the realms that surround Ignisar already existed, but that they were left abandoned by their original inhabitants. Some archaeologists claim to have found relics that predate Ignisar... But how can they ever be sure?

Other theorists claim that one single mysterious force or being created the realms and started writing stories and fates of its inhabitants... like some overlord puppeteering everything? They speculate that the first celestials and fiends were written into existence during the everlasting struggle between two cosmic entities referred to as "The Fates" and "The Void."

The Sun & The Moon | ??? B.T.C

In the cosmos of Ignisar, The Sun is not merely a blazing ball of stellar fire but a manifestation of energy granted by the gods. It serves as the guardian against the ever-encroaching Void, a celestial protector that revolves around the stationary planet. As far as Ignisar's astronomers and astrologists seem to be able to confirm. The planet stands as an anchor in the cosmos, and The Sun orbits around it. Believed to be the ultimate warden against the encroaching Void. The Sun bathes Ignisar in life-sustaining power. Eventually it became a symbol of divine benevolence, a tireless sentinel warding off the shadows beyond. The earliest documents give the sun the name "Solaris".

As night descends and the sun disappears, the stars unveil themselves. Each star, a distant sun illuminating its own version of Ignisar, offers glimpses into divergent paths, choices, and lives that could have been. This cosmic connection to alternate realities intertwine with the Realm of Dreams and Realm of Nightmares.

The Moon, the subtle echo of the Sun casts a faint glow causing those reflections of Ignisar to grow stronger. They intertwine the realms of dreams and nightmares with the cosmic narratives written in the stars.

The Star & What Falls | ??? B.T.C

As Solaris retreats beyond the horizon, yielding to the quiet dominion of night, the Stars awaken, guiding lights for those who walk an uncertain path. Some say the Star and the Sun are not so different, for both illuminate the way forward. Yet their purpose is not the same.

The Sun is the warden of order, shining upon those who are expected to rise, kings, queens, and chosen heroes. Its brilliance affirms what is already known: power begets power, greatness begets greatness. But the Star? The Star is a defiant force, a glimmer of possibility where none should exist. It does not bow to the rigid path of fate. Instead, it carves new ones.

Some call it the arrogant sibling of the Moon, more stubborn than Solaris itself, for it does not wait for permission to shine. The Star does not answer to lineage, prophecy, or divine right. It calls to the unheard, the unseen—those whose names were never meant to be remembered. A farmhand who lifts a blade against an encroaching horror. A servant who speaks a truth no noble dares utter. A child who looks up at the sky and dreams of a future beyond the life given to them.

Where the Sun heralds victory for those destined to achieve it, the Star grants hope to those who forge their own fate. It is the whisper in the dark that says, You can be more. It is the quiet defiance of expectation, the light that does not ask for recognition but shines all the same.

Yet beyond the Stars, a more unpredictable force streaks across the heavens—the Comet. Neither constant nor guiding, it is a herald of upheaval, a force of both doom and wonder. Some fear it as divine wrath, a warning that mortals have strayed. Others see it as a gift, a cosmic shift that demands action.

Where the Star is the steady pursuit of dreams, the Comet is the moment everything changes. It does not wait for readiness—it arrives, leaving the world forever altered.

Humans, Luminary & Dwarves | ??? B.T.C

The origins of the first intelligent beings on Ignisar remain some of the greatest unsolved mysteries. Did they evolve from other creatures over time? Were they placed here by some greater force? Or did the world itself bring them into being? Every culture has its own version of their origins, but the truth, if it was ever known has long been lost...

Scholars from Arnewynd once theorized that humanity descended from great apes, shaped by time and nature. Others dismissed this idea, believing instead that humankind was brought to Ignisar by a mysterious entity, perhaps a forgotten god or something beyond comprehension. There are even myths that speak of the first men arriving through glowing gates, their footprints vanishing as quickly as they appeared.

The origins of the Luminary are even harder to pin down. Some believe they emerged from the Realm of Dreams, born from thought and imagination itself. Others argue that the High Luminary came from Alfheim, a realm of radiant light. Could both be true? Or neither? Some myths even suggest they exist across multiple worlds at once, never fully bound to one place.

Dwarves, on the other hand, are often said to have come from the earth itself—shaped from stone and metal, given life by fire. But some scholars believe they might have ties to Niðavellir, a hidden realm. Maybe they were once part of that world and somehow found their way to Ignisar.

No one knows for sure. The true answers are buried under time, myth, and legend. But maybe that’s part of the fun—every culture has its own story, and in a world like Ignisar, stories have a way of shaping reality.

The Breath | ??? B.T.C

When the foundations of the world were shaped, so too was a force of limitless potential—The Breath. It is the unseen current that flows through all things, from the smallest insect skittering across the earth to the celestial and fiendish avatars that dwell beyond mortal comprehension. Some describe it as a gentle whisper in the wind, subtle and guiding. Others know it as a storm, wild and untamed, capable of reshaping reality itself. It is the fire in a dragon’s breath, the pulse of life in a warrior’s heart, and the song that lingers on a bard’s lips.

How The Breath came to be is a mystery. Some believe it was woven into the very fabric of creation, inseparable from existence itself. Others argue that it is a gift, bestowed upon the world by an unknown force.

Whatever the truth, it was the Luminary who first understood its power. Through them, the knowledge of The Breath slowly spread to other races, each shaping their own ways of harnessing it. Theories abound as to its nature. Some scholars claim that The Breath is the foundation of all mortal life on Ignisar, the force that allows beings to rise beyond their limitations.

A warrior’s unwavering endurance, a monk’s sharpened reflexes, a mage’s bending of the elements—all of it is possible through mastery of The Breath. Even the simplest of acts—lifting a sword, singing a song, taking another step forward—could, in some way, be traced back to its presence. Magic and might, art and craft, body and spirit—all are shaped by this unseen force. To wield The Breath is to embrace the essence of existence itself.
