The conflict between humanity and the Luminary reached a catastrophic peak, threatening to obliterate all of Ignisar. With the war spiraling out of control, the gods intervened, compelled by the destructive potential of the war and the irreversible damage it was inflicting upon the world. The Therianthropic Convergence, a world-altering event, forever shifted the balance of power.
The Subjurforged, the mindless tools of destruction, gained full sentience, gaining horrifying awareness of their existence. They were no longer bound by their creators’ will. With this newfound freedom, they also gained access to "The Breath", the very essence that powered the arcane forces of the world. This incredible shift sparked a violent upheaval, as the Subjurforged began to assert their own dominance, no longer subservient but instead seeking their own goals.

What followed was a 150 years of chaos, where allegiances shifted, entire kingdoms fell, and the world was reshaped by those who once were considered mere weapons. The intervention of the idols had indeed saved Ignisar from annihilation—but at the cost of a fractured world, where old alliances were broken and new powers arose from the ashes. The outposts of the Archipelago were destroyed or abandoned. Dwarves were pushed back underground, Luminary were forced to retreat back to their own lands.
