In Concordia, Diversity isn't just accepted; it is celebrated. The people of this remarkable kingdom have forged an identity that honors their unique origins and the power of unity. Before the Therianthrophic Convergence, Concordia was once known as the Kingdom of Maraya, home to the High and Blue Luminary. It flourished as a vibrant and beautiful place. However, when the The Throne War erupted, The Capitol of Maraya, being the nearest Luminary settlement to Arnewynd, found itself in the crosshairs of conflict, and the city was left in ruins.

History

The Capitol of Maraya was once a bustling hub of trade and luxury and home to many Gold, Silver and Blue Luminary, the city sparkled under a sky forever bathed in sunshine. With many a maze-like markets, thrummed with life. Spicy smells mingled with the hearty aroma of smoked meats, while silks as colorful as twilight were all woven and sold. The markets were a true celebration of the city's flourishing craftsmanship. Maraya wasn't just a trading post; it was a lively song, a beautiful blend of cultures brought together by a shared love for beauty and good things. The Luminary of Maraya were much more open-minded than their Aurora counterparts, due to their close proximity to the other human, dwarven and dragonfolk settlements.

But all that was devastated in the blink of an eye by the Subjuforged, horrific creations of the humans of Arnewynd. Most of these Subjurforged that were 'deployed' were viciously deformed lions and fennecs. This event marked one of the earliest instances of Subjuforged deployment and was considered a chilling success by some.

Yet, not everyone concurred with this grim achievement. Many humans, dwarves, and dragonfolk who had initially aligned themselves with Arnewynd bore witness to this massacre. They were moved to rebellion, renouncing their allegiance to Arnewynd. Following the Convergence, the Subjuforged in these lands transformed into Feline Therans. In stark contrast to the situation in Sevenfold, these Therans did not mindlessly massacre their former slavers.

The history books now refer to this transformation as the "Rise of A New Sun." When the Subjuforged re-awakened, their first experience was the warmth of the sun, and they came to realize that further bloodshed would only deny others the chance to experience this wonderful gift.

Those who remained in Concordia undertook the formidable task of rebuilding Maraya, and they renamed it to: The Kingdom of the Radiant Sun, Concordia. Only a handful of Luminary survived the horrendous slaughter, all except one chose to seek refuge in Sirena's Domain, Aurora's Domain or even hid away in The Soarlands or Borealreach.

Races of Concordia

After the fall of the Capitol of Maraya, the rebellions who renounced their allegiance to Arnewynd were hunted down by the Subjurforged, forced to hide into the desert or underground. Meaning that most of the mainland were being roamed by Subjurforged without a purpose, they hunted down the wildlife, causing their subjurforged mutations to affect other creatures, most creatures who were incapable of surviving the horrific mutation died, but it seemed that a few animals like Elephants did.

After the Therianthropic Convergence, the subjurforged were wiped out and all those affected were exposed to an massive influx of magic, leading the birth of Lionfolk, Pantherfolk, Tigerfolk but also other races such as the Elephantfolk. Only a handful of Luminary remained within the settlement, typically within high-ranking organizations but detached from their Aurora counterparts.
