While attuned to this ring, you know the Prestidigitation cantrip. When the bearer rolls a natural 19 or 20 with an attack roll or spell attack, the flame grows brighter, storing 2d4 fire damage. The stored fire damage accumulates with each subsequent 19 or 20, to a maximum of 8d4 fire damage.

You can choose to unleash the stored fire damage on your next attack or damaging spell, adding the total as bonus fire damage. You can decide to add the fire damage after the roll, but before the DM has announced if the attack hit or not.

Once used, the stored fire damage resets to 0. If you do not expend the stored fire damage within 1 minute of the last store, the store dissipates harmlessly. Once the stored fire has been unleashed, the ring cannot store fire anymore until the next long rest.
